My Personal Fundraising Page for Team Jesse's Heart
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.
We are walking and raising funds on behalf of our son and our little heart warrior, Jesse Albert. During the 20-week ultrasound we received the difficult news that our son would be diagnosed with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS), specifically Tricuspid Atresia. Since then, Jesse has undergone two successful heart surgeries, including a pulmonary banding as well as the Bidirectional-Glenn procedure. Jesse will undergo a third heart surgery this Spring where he will receive the Fontan procedure. Like so many children who have congenital heart disease, Jesse has fought so bravely, not only to get through heart surgeries, but countless other less invasive procedures and doctor’s appointments. Today, Jesse is such a smiley, strong, smart, and determined little two-year old, who teaches us daily the value and fragility of our lives here. Please join us in raising funds on behalf of our heart warrior in order to continue the important lifesaving research that our son, and many others have greatly benefitted from. It is because of this research and developments in modern medicine that have given us invaluable time and moments with our little boy. We thank everyone who have supported and will continue to support us and Jesse through his life journey.

It is that time of year again! Please join us in walking or donating to raise funds and awareness for congenital heart disease. Once again, we are walking on behalf of our little heart warrior, Jesse Albert, who has been fighting bravely and living with complex congenital heart disease. We would love to have anyone and everyone there to walk with Jesse. If you are unable to walk with us in person, your donations are extremely appreciated. We have had such a great turnout the past two years, and we would love to have your support again this year. We thank you all in advance and we will have more information for t-shirts for those who would like to walk, or if you would like to just buy a cool t-shirt, all of the proceeds will also go towards our team, Jesse's Heart.
