Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

I hope you'll join me by supporting my fundraising efforts as I work to raise funds for life-saving research.

About Me

Benjamin was born with d-TGA, undiagnosed at birth. He spent 7 days in the NICU and on his 8th day of life, he underwent open heart surgery and had his Arterial Switch Operation. All in all, he spent the first 3 weeks of his life in the hospital, and many months after that in close medical care. 
 

When he asks, we will tell Ben that he was born during a blizzard and had his surgery on the day of a Nor'easter! We like to believe it is his fighting spirit that was represented in that weather and a sign that he'll make it through anything! 
 

Ben is now 2 and doing really well! We are so thankful to The CHF for raising money for congenital defects. We are so happy that Ben is doing well now, but we know this condition will stay with him for the rest of his life. We want to thank all of you for coming to our page to support us and the research that will help make these kids lives better!
