Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) the number 1 birth defect. However,  CHD research is extremely underfunded. It’s only through continued research that children born with CHDs have the chance to survive, which is why The Children's Heart Foundation is dedicated to funding this critical research. 

Critical research and medical advances are the sole reason I’m alive today. I’m grateful every day for the advancements that allow me and my heart siblings a chance at life.
