Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are participating in the DFW Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research. The format and location of the Heart Walk has been different since Covid, but we are excited and thankful that it will be back in Fort Worth and that we can continue raising awareness and funds to help all of the amazing heart warriors living with congenital heart defects.
Jonathan will turn fourteen at the end of February and while he has not required medical intervention for his heart in many years, he is one of the brave, older kids at Cook paving the way for more research into quality of life and the direct link between mental health issues and heart defects. God has used Jonathan's amazing medical team to sustain him and help him thrive - though as we naviagate the teenage years, he doesn't always see the ways he is different as a blessing. Being around other heart kiddos and realizing how much he has overcome, helps him to realize what a miracle he is. Thank you for contnuing to love and support Jonathan - your prayers, love, and joy in him make all the difference.
