I will be participating in The Congenital Heart Walk on May 3rd in honor of my niece and nephew heart warriors, Gemma and Dylan.
Gemma has a complex heart defect and has undergone 4 open heart surgeries. She is now 5 years old and does extremely well despite having half a heart. Dylan, 2 years old, underwent surgery at 6 months old for a Vascular ring. Luckily his condition was less complex and today he is thriving!
The Children's Heart Foundation's mission is to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research. This cause means so much to me and my family, and I’d truly appreciate if you would consider contributing.
