Hi, I’m Amarla

Thank you so much for taking a moment to visit my page.

I was born with a heart defect called Transposition of the great arteries (TGA). When I was just one week old, I had open heart surgery to switch my main arteries. A month later, I had to go back into surgery to fix a small leak in my heart. Then at 4 years old, I had another emergency surgery because my heart rate would get too high when I played.

It was a scary time for my family, but everything went well. Thanks to God and my amazing doctors, I’m doing better than ever now! I can run, play, and be a kid with no worries.

This isn’t just a walk for us.
It’s a journey of survival.
It’s a celebration of life.

I’m so grateful for my family, my friends, and everyone who supports me.
