New York City Congenital Heart Walk

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read Sienna's story. This year for the first time our family will be fundraising and participating in the CHD walk that also happens to be taking place in our hometown for the first time. This event has become near and dear to our hearts. Our sweet Sienna was diagnosed with a VSD at the 20 week, anatomy scan and would require a repair surgery after birth. Unfortunately, at the 28 week fetal echo, Sienna was then diagnosed with Heterotaxy (a rare congenital defect in which the major visceral organs are distributed abnormally within the chest and abdomen) as well as numerous CHD's including Pulmonary Atresia and TAPVR. A week after her birth in June 2023 Sienna's first procedure was a heart artery stent and placement of an NG tube. In November 2023 her first surgery was bi-directional Glenn. Please keep us in your prayers as we anticipate Sienna's next surgery, The Fontan, at approximately three years old.
