I extend my heartfelt gratitude for taking a moment to visit our fundraising page. It marks the second year that Team Super Sonny has dedicated efforts to raise funds for The Children's Heart Foundation.

Our son, Santino, was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries at just 22 weeks gestational age. Upon his arrival on 1/12/23, he immediately underwent an atrial septostomy surgery within his first 30 minutes of life to ensure adequate oxygen supply. At only 5 days old, Dr. Bacha and Dr. Goldstone performed Sonny's arterial switch, a procedure lasting over 10+ hours. Following this, Sonny spent another 2+ weeks in the NICU.

Today, Santino is a thriving, intelligent, and a wild boy. He knows no bounds and consistently proves he is unstoppable.

Every dollar raised, whether large or small, contributes to advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
