We’re not just a team—we’re a sisterhood formed in hospital hallways, ICU rooms, early morning rounds, and long nights of waiting and praying.

We are The Real Cardiac Moms of CHOA, and we came together because our children’s hearts brought us to the same place—but our strength, resilience, and love is what kept us together.

Between us, we’ve learned how to read monitors, sit through complex updates, ask the hard questions, and show up every single day for our heart warriors—no matter how hard the day looks.

Every 15 minutes in the United States, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect. Behind that statistic are real families like ours—living it, fighting through it, and hoping for better outcomes.

That’s why we walk with purpose in the Congenital Heart Walk, benefiting The Children’s Heart Foundation. Their work funds the research that has changed survival rates, improved surgeries, and given our children more time, more options, and more hope.

But for us, this walk is personal.

We walk for the early mornings at CHOA.

We walk for the unexpected updates.

We walk for the tiny hearts doing the biggest work.

And we walk for every mom still learning how strong she really is.

We’ve shared some of our hardest days together—and now we’re choosing to celebrate our babies, honor their journeys, and raise funds together for research that continues to save lives.
